The remodels start out with the demos. That is taking everything out that is going to be replaced. This includes removing all the fixtures that are being replaced. Also removing all vanities and cabinets that are being replaced. All of the old plumbing is removed. In a bathroom, tubs and all shower tiles are removed. Also, any light fixtures, mirrors and any other items that are being replaced. The removal of baseboards and flooring as needed. Also the removal of any wall sections or soffits as necessary to facilitate the completion of the new kitchen or bath. Once the demolition is complete, the installation begins. The installation begins with repairing any framework or drywall as needed. This includes replacing any framework or drywall. Also, the framing of any new wall sections needed to facilitate installation. In a bath, all the prep work needed prior to installation of new tile. This includes the schluter system on the walls and the floor of the shower. Also, overseeing the installation of tile, plumbing, electrical and flooring updates. Also part of the installation is to prep any drywall repairs so that the texturing and painting can be completed. Any new vanities, cabinets, kitchen islands are installed. Base boards are also installed where necessary. Any plumbing and light fixtures are also installed. Caulk is applied at all necessary locations to seal areas against moisture that may present itself. After all the work is completed, any minor touch ups are made to insure that the job is completed. A final walk through is made with the customer to make sure that the job is completed to their satisfaction. The demo and installation applies to both kitchens and baths. The only differences are in the items and fixtures that are replaced.
